Happy birthday Joey!

Uncle Joey celebrated his birthday on the 15th. Happy birthday Uncle Joey! We love you! πŸ™‚ Β Uncle Joey is Samuel’s best buddy! He loves to spend time with him & loves Uncle Joey’s camper. Thanks for telling him all about your camper! He knows exactly how to hook your camper up to your trailer hitch now. πŸ˜‰ He tells us about it often. Haha! Love you Joey!

Happy birthday Kristina!

On October 13th our niece, Kristina turned 11! I cannot believe how old she is now! She was only 2 months old when Bill & I started dating. πŸ™‚ She has such a tender heart & is a blessing to us. We are absolutely thrilled that earlier this year she accepted Jesus as her Savior! She’s not only our niece, but our sister in Christ too. We love her so much & are so thankful for our little flower girl. πŸ™‚

The Saturday before her birthday we had a family celebration. We had dinner, cake, ice cream, & presents. It is always fun to be with our family, spend time together, & celebrate another birthday! Happy birthday sweet girl!

We had a laid back day today. We had Samuel’s soccer game this morning & then had brunch with Mimi & Pop-pop. πŸ™‚ Β We celebrated with cupcakes! Then we all had a nap. We were planning to go to a local pumpkin farm, but it has been so wet around here & I wasn’t feeling well. So, we hope to go another day soon. Then tonight we celebrated our niece Kristina’s 11th birthday! I’ll post more on that later.

Here’s our cupcakes…

Baby girl Corbin (I know her name, but can’t tell πŸ˜‰ ) is close to being here! We had a small baby shower to shower Daniel & Anna with diapers, wipes, & baby essentials to get them started. It wasn’t anything big, but was a blessed time to spend with our immediate family. We are so excited for her arrival & cannot wait to see her sweet face! This will be baby girl #3 for my brother & his wife! πŸ™‚Β  She is due November 9, so she will be here soon. I’m thankful for the time we were able to spend with them on Saturday.

Our soccer star

We were so excited to find out Samuel could play soccer for our local youth rec league. Most of the time they have to be 4 years old. They had recently changed it & I’m thankful my best friend, Beth, told me about the change. πŸ™‚ Β Samuel was so excited too! His team is the Thrashers & their color is blue! He is basically learning to kick the ball & not touch it with his hands. We have practice on Tuesday evenings & games are on Saturday mornings. The majority of his games are at 9:00. We love watching our little man out on the field. He did have contact with the soccer ball a couple of times at his first game. πŸ™‚ He actually ran into the ball one time on accident. πŸ˜‰ Our sweet little man runs after the other kids, or stands there & talks to the other kid closest to him. πŸ™‚ Β It’s sweet watching these little ones learn what soccer is all about. He has to start somewhere & he is doing great! If you ask him he will tell you that “I am really good.” πŸ™‚

A couple of weeks ago we went to the beach with Pappy, Nanny, Dana, & Joey for a long weekend. We were there on Bill’s birthday, the 22nd! Chuseok, Korean Thanksgiving, was on Thursday, September 19th. I had to work 12 hours, so we didn’t celebrate that night. We decided to celebrate on Friday night with family. We cooked some Korean food & it was yummy! We had beef bulgolgi, white rice, mandu, Korean candy, & choco pies! We were blessed to celebrate Chuseok with some of our family. We are thankful for our entire family!

On Saturday morning it was just me, Nanny, & Samuel hanging out. Pappy, Bill, Dana, & Joey all went to play golf. So, we went to the store where Samuel had to get a toy :), & hung out in the room until they got back from playing golf. We then went to the indoor pool. It was a little cool outside to go out on the beach. I forgot to take my camera to the pool! After a fun time at the pool Samuel & Bill took a nap. When they got up we went out to this cool playground! It was a pirate ship. Samuel loved it! After dinner Samuel had so much fun playing hide & go seek, & making paper airplanes. His uncle Joey made him several airplanes & he was his buddy the rest of the night. They even watched some “Disney Collector” on youtube together. πŸ™‚

Sunday was daddy’s big day! It was his birthday! Samuel helped make daddy breakfast. He loves to help cook! Daddy decided he wanted to relax & sleep a little more. So Nanny, Dana, Samuel & I went to the beach to find seashells. We found some beautiful ones. After our walk we headed inside & got ready to go to the pool. We then came in & got ready to go out to dinner & the mall. Daddy wanted to spend his birthday money. πŸ™‚ We love you so much Bill & are so blessed by you! Thank you so much for working so hard for our family. I’m sorry that I don’t tell you enough that I appreciate you! After dinner & shopping we came back to make daddy a cake. Again Samuel helped!

Then we had our last full day on Monday. It was finally warm enough to enjoy the beach. We played in the sand & water for a little while & then headed to the pool. Samuel really enjoyed the indoor little water park they had. He loved the water slides & wanted everyone to go down them with him!

Tuesday morning we had to pack everything up & get ready to go back home. We went to the beach to play for a short while. Then went back in to load everything up & get on the road. We had to make it back in time for our soccer star’s first soccer practice! πŸ™‚ Β A post will be coming on that soon!

We had so much fun & love the time we spent with family. We always love going to the beach! Even our short trips to the beach. We were thankful to get to spend more time this last time. Love you guys!!!
