>Crazy Love

>So, let’s try this again! I didn’t do this post correctly this first time.

Okay, so this post won’t make sense to some of you, but those of you who follow Linny over @ A Place Called Simplicity will understand! 🙂 You can read about the post here if you’re interested! Linny wrote a post about Crazy Love & how cool would it be to have a list of blogs that we could all donate to. If everyone donated $5 or whatever you could, then we’d all be supporting each other.

Let me tell you some of the requirements to be considered!

My hubby & I are adopting from Korea. Any money donated will go directly to our adoption fund. We finally have our dossier in Korea. It just arrived on Monday! We have about $12,000 left to raise & we only have 5-8 months left to raise these funds. You see we will get our referral they say in 5-8 months & that is when the remaining money is due. We know that God is going to provide & trust Him that He will! He has provided every step of the way so far! Everytime we’ve had a fee due, He has blessed us some way with the money. We are so blessed to server a Savior that cares about our every need! If you have any questions, please email me @ awaitingourmiracle@gmail.com.

We attend Calvary’s Cross Baptist Church & are active members! We do tithe off of our “first friuts” or gross pay. We have been blessed so much by follow His command to do this! My hubby helps with ushering & I help with praise & worship on Sunday mornings. On Sunday evenings we both teach different classes in our AWANA program. We also attend on Wed. nights for Bible study. We love our church & are thankful to be a part of such a group!

Thank you all so much for your support! God bless you!

>Spring is here!

>

Just thought I’d share a few photos of our hard work today! Most of the plants were already there. I just planted a few new flowers. We placed that black netting underneath the mulch to help keep out the weeds. I hope it works because it was a lot of work! I also don’t like having to de-weed all of that so often. The weeds grow the fastest of anything!

I LOVE this time of year. I love being outside!

Happy Spring!

>We are so excited that our papers are on their way to Korea right now! YEAH! I can’t believe we’ve finally made it here. They told us a 5-8 month wait for our referral now. 😦 We are praying for sooner! Will you too, please? We really want our baby HERE by the end of the year!

>Praise!

>Yay! I am so EXCITED! We got our I-171H form in the mail today! YEAH! That’s our approval letter from the Department of Homeland Security to adopt! It states, “It has been determined that you are able to furnish proper care to an orphan…” I’m going to fax it to our agency in the morning. I’m not sure how long it takes them to send everything, but hopefully our paper work will go to Korea ASAP. They say 4-6 months for a referral! I pray we’re on the shorter end of that because the wait to travel to get our baby will be forever (it will seem like forever to me), up to 6 months!

I can’t describe how happy I am that we are finally at least at this point. It seems so far out of reach. This helps bring it a little closer to home. 🙂

Thank you everyone for all of your prayers! We are forever grateful to all of you who support us!

>While I’m waiting

>

My dear friend, Beth, sent this to me for encouragement. Just thought I’d share this with you all. I’m going to do my best to worship & serve Him while I’m waiting. I just may need a little encouragement along the way!

>Well, not much is happening here on the adoption front. We are still just waiting on USCIS to send us our I-171H form. I hope it’s soon. I know it may be a while though. Wednesday will be 2 weeks since we had our finger prints & I know the wait may be up to 12 weeks. Hopefully not though!

I’ve been blessed to work 40 hours + per week lately! It’s been draining, but a blessing at the same time. I feel like I can’t keep my house clean b/c I never have time to. I’m always at work! Oh well. I’m off Wed. & my plan is to get as much done as I can. We’re also pretty busy with our church, which is a great thing!

I have a few prayer requests for you guys. First please pray for my hubby’s job. He’s started looking for something else. His job is not very stable & he needs more hours. Secondly please pray for the grant we applied for with Show Hope. We sent everything they needed off last week. We will be applying for more, but this is the first. Since we finally received our home study we can begin applying now. They are just very time consuming & very detailed!

Thank you all for your prayers! God bless you all!
